This first period of being a guest within the community is a challenge to begin a new phase of life. Its aim is to deepen contact with the community, and to enable a commitment that makes it possible for the person to grow into the respective group of the community.
This includes learning how to integrate the practice of praying into everyday life and of getting to know life in community from within.
This period also offers the chance to distinguish whether one's own vocation corresponds to the specific way of life in the Secular Institute St. Boniface. At the end of this phase, the candidate is free to decide whether to begin the "Period of Spiritual Training" or not.
